About Me
“Travel is glamorous only in retrospect.” – Paul Theroux
People talk about traveling as a spiritual journey, a cultural feast or an eye-opening pilgrimage but what about all the mishaps happening behind the inspiring photos? From foot worms to gastro explosions, stolen wallets to missing luggage, I started this blog to capture the crazy, humiliating, frustrating, and hilarious bumps that happen (at least to me) on the road.
A bit about me. I was born in Haiti and raised abroad (mostly) with my three genius sisters. Like everyone, my high school was a cocoon of warmth and acceptance. After graduating from college with a cutthroat degree in English, I moved to New York City to become a failed actress. From there, my career path has more twists and turns than Mulholland Drive. I freelanced at Lucky magazine, fundraised at NARAL Pro-Choice New York, coordinated events at Hillary for President, managed communications campaigns at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and led digital outreach at MTV EXIT before abandoning the office cubicle for life on the road with my boyfriend, Mike…which it turns out is a lot harder than I thought.
What’s up, yeah this article is actually fastidious and I
have learned lot of things from it regarding blogging. thanks.
Thanks! I hope you didn’t learn what NOT to do 😊. Good luck blogging and thanks again for reading.
